I KNOW, I KNOW!
I have been a total slacker lately in regards to my blog. We really are just getting settled into our new place (we totally love it) and I am trying to get engaged in school as I have yet to do so. That in combination with Nick trying to work more and packed weekends in September have left us quite busy.
A re-cap:

A re-cap:
- Still no internship. I've been living in a complete lack of information and understanding. I finally got a call today (with no warning from the school, of course) from a hospice agency in Tucker. It is only about 11 miles away and would take me about 15-20 minutes to get there, although it is not an actual inpatient facility so I will be doing a good bit of traveling IF I get the internship (I'm not counting on it this time!). Here is the website: http://www.crossroadshospice.com/ They are supposed to be calling me tomorrow to set up an interview.
- My Mom and Dad came over on Sunday and brought our new (well, they're used, but they're new to us!) couch and love seat and helped us arrange the living room furniture. A more difficult task than one might think! It feels great to have it done and it is really starting to feel like "home." I will post pictures very soon. Mom and Dad are getting our "new" furniture cleaned as a house warming gift. We are so grateful for their generousity as well as for all they have done for us to get us settled.
- Oscar is doing great. Her incision is almost completely healed and looks great. We were finally able to take the collar of at the end of last week and she was so happy to be free! All of the cats have completely adjusted to our new place and are enjoying all of the new things.
- This weekend is Liam's baptism! Nick and I are so honored to be his Godparents and I can't wait to see him get "sprinkled" :)
- This weekend is also our annual yardsale in my parents neighborhood. We were able to clear out a good bit before we moved and are hoping to reimburse our moving expenses. We are also hoping that Aunt Vickie will be gracing us with her presence!
- Nick is enjoying football season as much as he can without cable. We decided against hooking it up to try to be more like Dave Ramsey :) It has prompted Nick to list more than 60 books on Amazon to try to raise the funds to get cable for football season. He has already sold more than 20 of his books and is well on his way to getting cable!
