layout changes

I am still working on getting the layout of my blog exactly how I want it. I can't figure out how to keep the text from being right against the border (it requires editing html, as do all of these changes, and I can't find any directions online) so I decided to center it for now. Does it look ok, or should I leave the text aligned to left as it was until I figure out how to keep it off of the border? Please let me know in the comments!
